The Grand San Francisco Tour Part 1

After breakfast at the hotel's breakfast buffet, we hit the road. The first stop on our San Francisco tour was the Golden Gate Bridge. We parked at a vista point and looked around, but then we got back into the Dodge and made a run across the bridge. It was really cool. I also thought I saw Alcatraz along the way. After, we circled around and drove across again.

The next stop was the Presidio. However, we just parked by the Exploratorium and walked around it. There was a pond in front, and hundreds of birds were swimming around.

The Exploratorium itself was beautiful. It was really facsinating to know that humans crafted it themselves without the help of machines.

Did you know that Lombard Street is the crookedest street in the world? It's true. Lombard Street starts with a steep 45 degree climb up a hill. Then, as the street starts to wind, the pavement changes, and you find yourself on bricks. The downhill run curves, twists, and turns along a steep pass before reaching a flat area and turning to pavement again. Then, the road slopes down another 45 degree angle run before flattening out again.

We got to ride down this roller coaster road. It was really thriling (for a road) and my mom screamed occasionally. It was probably fake, but it was funny.
